Our group's history dates back to the 1990s, starting with the retail of school and office supplies. In the years that followed, we began investing in real estate after identifying a promising market in this sector. Our customers included both private individuals and government institutions.
The growing demand for building materials has inspired us to increase our investment in real estate. This is Mr. Abboud, who came up with the idea of importing building materials, driven by the continuous expansion of the Algerian market, which has never been saturated. This led to the creation of a new company: a stone quarry established about eight years ago in the town of El Djelfa.
Our group also owns a mill in Ghardaïa, which helps supply the Algerian market with surplus cereals. Additionally, we hold shares in other companies, including one specializing in cookie production and another providing services in the energy sector.
Being a businessman doesn’t just mean making money or achieving high professional positions. Being an entrepreneur also means expanding your field of activity so that society can benefit from it, notably by creating jobs.
In this way, we contribute not only to the development of new business sectors but also to the achievement of government objectives, such as industrial diversification beyond the energy sector, combating unemployment, and reducing imports of finished products.
